Jim Moran Institute Reveals Inaugural JMI 30 Winners

Tallahassee, Fla.  — The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship, housed in the Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship at Florida State University, unveiled its inaugural 2025 JMI 30 list on Friday, June 13th, during the closing session of its 14th Annual JMI Conference in St. Petersburg, FL.  The list recognizes 30 of the fastest-growing businesses owned or led by JMI alumni and includes a wide range of industries across the state, with 100% of the companies located in Florida.  

The institute recognized the No. 1 business, Anuvision Technologies, Inc., by honoring Summer Vyne, owner and CEO of a full-service technology consulting business based in Jacksonville, Florida. Founded in 2020, the company’s compound annual growth rate increased an astonishing 180% from 2022 to 2024.  

Dr. Susan Fiorito, Dean of Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship, presented the awards to the 30 honorees. “The inaugural JMI 30 recognizes entrepreneurial excellence and is an important tribute to JMI’s most successful alumni business leaders and non-profit executives,” said Dean Fiorito. “These companies play important roles in facilitating growth in communities across Florida and beyond. Their extraordinary success is a testament to the dedication, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit the Jim Moran Institute has championed for three decades.”

To qualify for the JMI 30, a company must be a qualified Jim Moran Institute alumnus who graduated from one of the following JMI programs: Small Business Executive Program, Nonprofit Executive Program, Entrepreneur Bootcamp for Veterans, EBV Families, or EBV Accelerate, have operated for at least three years and generated revenue by Jan. 1, 2022.
