Apply Today! Applications for the prestigious JMI 30 are due by July 30, 2026, and the grand celebration and revealing of the numerical rankings will take place on November 6, 2026, during the final portion of the JMI Alumni Summit in Dania Beach, Florida.
WHAT WILL BE ASKED IN THE JMI 30 APPLICATION?
Basic personal information such as First Name, Last Name, Maiden Name, and JMI Program Attended will be asked to help verify your alumni status. Basic information about your company such as Business Name, Location, Years In Business and more will be asked to gather information needed for the JMI 30 Celebration Event. Your company's financial information will need to be submitted separately via the Revenue Verification Form, which will then be send to our financial partner RVG & Company. This will complete the application process.
WHY SHOULD I APPLY?
Media exposure via national, local, and industry/trade outlets, public acknowledgment for company-wide success, recruiting tools, new sales and partnership opportunities through high-quality networking. This event is expected to be more than just an awards ceremony; it's a tribute to JMI’s most innovative and successful business leaders and non-profit executives. It aims to boost their visibility and recognition through national, local, and industry media exposure.
WHO IS RVG & Company.?
RVG & Company delivers high caliber tax and accounting advisory solutions, and strategies that result in long-lasting benefits and peace of mind to entrepreneurs and seasoned business owners. JMI has partnered with RVG & Company to accept all revenue verification forms for JMI 30, review them, calculate the Compound Annual Growth Rate, and rank the businesses according to their growth rate. Applicants are required to submit a revenue verification form to RVG & Company in order to apply for JMI 30. (Note, an example of the CAGR formula that will be is provided on the last page of the Revenue Verification Form.)
DOES MY FINANCIAL INFORMATION REMAIN PRIVATE?
Yes. You will share detailed revenue and financial records with RVG & Company who will use these documents to calculate your Compound Annual Growth Rate and your ranking in the list. The only information that will be made public by RVG & Company and JMI upon announcing the list is your company's Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR).
WHEN WILL I FIND OUT MY COMPANY’S RANKING?
Your company’s numerical ranking will be revealed at the 2025 JMI 30 Celebration Event on June 13, 2025
AM I REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE JMI 30 CELEBRATION?
No. We would love to see you and your team there to celebrate, but it's not required in order to make the list. Take advantage & attend conference, awards celebration and become a sponsor!
ARE PUBLIC TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR THE CELEBRATION EVENT?
Yes, the JMI 30 Celebration is a ticketed event that is open to the public to attend.

Yes. If your nonprofit organization is revenue generating and meets the eligibility requirements, we encourage you to apply.
CAN ADDITIONAL ALUMNI BE RECOGNIZED?
Yes. a. If the company is private, the additional alumnus must meet leadership criteria and/or possess ownership in the company. b. If the company is publicly-traded, the additional alumnus must be listed on the 10k for three consecutive years prior to nomination.
I AM NOT COMFORTABLE SUBMITTING MY REVENUES, CAN I STILL APPLY?
Yes, you may submit certain pages of your corporate tax return or audit.
IS THE VERIFICATION SYSTEM BASED ON NET OR GROSS REVENUE?
Gross revenue.
Jim Moran Institute reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the final list.To be considered as an awardee, the following criteria must be met:
Company leadership must:
- Be a qualified Jim Moran Institute alumnus who graduated from one of the following JMI programs during the calendar years of 2024 or prior: Small Business Executive Program, Nonprofit Executive Program, Entrepreneur Bootcamp for Veterans, EBV Families, or EBV Accelerate
- And be a JMI alumnus or group of JMI alumni:
- who has ownership in the company and has served as a top executive (i.e., chair, CEO, president, executive director, or managing partner) for three consecutive years prior to nomination, or
- who has led the company as a top executive for three consecutive years prior to nomination or
- who founded the company and has been an active member of its senior management team for three consecutive years prior to nomination.
Companies (corporations, partnerships, sole proprietorships, 501(c)(3)s, and LLCs) must:
- Have been in business as of January 1, 2023, and
- Have had verifiable revenues of $100,000 or more for the calendar year 2023 and
- Have had verifiable revenues of $250,000 or more for calendar year 2025
Past awardees are eligible to apply.
The Jim Moran Institute reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the final list.
Additional JMI alumni honorees within a company may be recognized, but they must be top-level leadership (i.e. Owner, Founder, President, Executive Director, Chairman of the Board, Partner). Publicly-traded companies are eligible to apply for the JMI 30. However, in order for an owner or executive-level leader to be considered a JMI 30 honoree, the alumni’s name must be listed as an owner on the company’s most recent SEC Form 10-K .
REVENUE VERIFICATION
To ensure the integrity and credibility of the list, the financial partner, RVG & Company, carefully calculates the revenue numbers for every applicant using the Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) formula. An example of the CAGR formula that will be used is provided on the last page of the Revenue Verification Form. Submitting documentation early will ensure accurate coverage.
- Applications Open: June 2026 – July 30, 2026

- Vetting of Alumni Status and Financial Forms: July 31 – August 25, 2026
- JMI 30 Companies Notified: First week of September 2026
- JMI 30 Celebration: November 6, 2026. At the JMI Alumni Summit in Dania Beach, Florida

The inaugural 2025 JMI 30 Award Honorees were celebrated during the 13th Annual Jim Moran Institute Conference. A festive lunch set the stage for the unveiling of the JMI 30 winners, where companies learned their rankings and received awards during a moment filled with cheers, applause and well-deserved recognition. The event was more than an awards ceremony; it served as a tribute to JMI’s most innovative and successful alumni business leaders and nonprofit executives who exemplified the values, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit JMI has championed for three decades.
