Applications Open for Tallahassee Small Business Executive Program & Nonprofit Executive Program

Tallahassee, Fla. — The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship, part of the Florida State University College of Business, is accepting applications for its Small Business Executive Program (SBEP) Class XVII and Nonprofit Executive Program (NPEP) Class VII in Tallahassee.

The SBEP and is designed for CEOs, entrepreneurs, business owners and presidents of small businesses, while the NPEP is for executive directors, presidents and CEOs of nonprofit organizations. Graduates emerge with the skills and training needed to capitalize on business opportunities, implement best practice management and turn challenges into strategic advantage. The SBEP helps for-profit small business owners and CEOs work on their business while accommodating their busy schedules. Taught by industry experts, participants learn the Business Model Canvas and are given additional tools to emerge as stronger leaders ready to capitalize on business opportunities. The program helps identify clear and focused strategies in marketing, exit strategy, financial analysis and more.

The Nonprofit Executive Program is focused on growth, leadership expertise, and financial success. It is an unparalleled opportunity to enhance business skills, innovate with other talented small business leaders, and prepare for new challenges that lie ahead.

Offered at no cost to participants, the programs are funded by The Jim Moran Foundation & Jan Moran. Businesses operating for three years or more and with three or more employees (or volunteers for nonprofits) are eligible to apply. The SBEP will run from August 30-November 29, while the NPEP will be presented September 7-November 30.

The Jim Moran Institute's North Florida Operations serves established entrepreneurs, business owners and nonprofit leaders in the North Florida community through multiple programs designed to take advantage of local resources. Providing executive education and leveraging the resources of the Jim Moran Institute, the North Florida Operations’ helps its clients' businesses - and the region's economy - grow and prosper. Based in Tallahassee and Jacksonville, North Florida Operations’ services are provided to for-profit and nonprofit businesses and are geared toward CEOs, entrepreneurs, business owners and presidents of small businesses whose companies have been established for at least three years with five or more employees.
