Jim Moran Institute Jacksonville Office Named SBA North Florida Community Partner of the Year
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — In honor of National Small Business Week, the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship, part of the Florida State University College of Business, announced today that its Jacksonville office has been recognized as the 2022 North Florida District Community Partner of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
“We are honored to receive this distinction from the SBA, and we look forward to building on this partnership to continue our work helping small business owners in North Florida at no cost,” said Stephanie Royal, Director of North Florida Operations at the Jim Moran Institute. “Florida State University and the Jim Moran Institute have been assisting entrepreneurs throughout the state of Florida for more than 25 years, and North Florida is a key territory for the success of our operations.”
The 2022 Small Business Week Award Winners and lenders will be recognized at the 30th annual Small Business Week Celebration on May 25, 2022, co-hosted by the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the University of North Florida and the SBA North Florida.
“Our small businesses have been hurting for the last couple of years due to the pandemic, and some of them had to close their doors, but many thrived due to their resourcefulness and dedication. We celebrate all the hard-working small business owners and congratulate our district winners on their respective titles. We also thank and congratulate the advocates that have helped our small businesses during a very difficult time,” stated District Director Richards.
