Ben is the Director of Business Development at Gantt Financial Group. Gantt Financial Group is a boutique financial planning firm that specializes in retirement income distribution. They are licensed in 44 states. Ben was initially licensed with Prudential, then New York Life in Jacksonville before moving to Tallahassee and working with Nations Bank, Bank of America, Synovus and Hancock Whitney Bank in Premier & Commercial Banking roles. His work with clients with Treasury Management (fraud prevention) tools led him to study cyber security where he became a frequent speaker on the topic. He is a former Leadership Pacesetter Finalist, member of Leadership Tallahassee Class 26, and former board member/officer with 211 Big Bend, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Institute for Nonprofit Innovation & Excellence, the Network of Entrepreneurs & Business Advocates, Tallahassee Classical School, Turn About, United Partners for Human Services, Leadership Tallahassee, Keep Tallahassee Leon County Beautiful and Springtime Tallahassee. Current board service includes Neighbor to Neighbor Services, TalTech Alliance, and organizer/founder of the Tallahassee Beer Festival. Ben enjoys family trips, coaching his son’s i9 football team, rucking, F3, & salt-water fishing.
