Applications Open For Jacksonville Small Business Executive Program

Jacksonville, Fla. — The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship, part of the Florida State University College of Business, is accepting applications for its Small Business Executive Program (SBEP) Class XI in Jacksonville. Offered at no cost to participants, the program is funded by Jan Moran and The Jim Moran Foundation. The deadline to apply is February 4th, 2022. Click here to apply.

The SBEP helps for-profit small business owners and CEOs work on their business while accommodating their busy schedules. Taught by industry experts, participants learn the Business Model Canvas and other tools and, at the end of the program, emerge as stronger leaders ready to capitalize on business opportunities.

“Our team looks forward to guiding another class of Jacksonville CEOs through the process of enhancing their businesses and preparing for the challenges that come with operating a growing company,” said Stephanie Royal, associate director of Jacksonville Operations at the Jim Moran Institute. “The knowledge acquired through the SBEP program will leave entrepreneurs confident in their business decision making and give them the tools they need to not only reach but exceed their business’s potential.”

A total of 20 participants from non-competing businesses will be accepted into the four-month program. Sessions take place one afternoon a month for four hours. The program begins February 24th and runs through May 26th. CEOs and small business owners operating for three years or more and with five or more employees are eligible to apply.

Dates and the structure of the programs are subject to change as the Jim Moran Institute continues to monitor the current COVID-19 guidelines from public health officials.
