SBLC Speaker Spotlight: Opening Keynote Esu Ma'at

The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship announces Esu Ma’at, Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer for the Orlando Magic, as the opening keynote speaker for the 12th Annual Small Business Leadership Conference (SBLC), taking place June 19-21 at the Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando.

Esu Ma’at focuses on integrating DE&I strategy with the team’s business goals, organizational values, and key performance indicators. He has a distinguished track record of success and drives a 21st century vision for diversity, equity, and inclusion. He works closely with the Magic’s executive leadership team to implement an impactful strategy to the organization, the NBA, and the Central Florida community.

The Jim Moran Institute’s Small Business Leadership Conference is hosted every year in Orlando and gives small business owners the opportunity for networking and professional development. Attendees can share ideas and learn vital information to ignite strategic growth while hearing from expert speakers.

Past keynote presenters include Matthew Griffin, co-founder and CEO of Combat Flip Flops, Scott Price, founder and CEO of A-LIGN, a cybersecurity and compliance solution provider based in Tampa, and Amanda Brinkman, the creator, producer and host of the hit series Small Business Revolution.

Participants of Jim Moran Institute programs including the Small Business Executive Program, Nonprofit Executive Program, Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans (EBV), Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans’ Families (EBV-F), Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans Accelerate (EBV-Accelerate), CEO Peer2Peer, RISE, and Seminole 100 honorees receive a discounted registration fee and are welcomed for an exclusive alumni reception.
