Cindy coordinates and facilitates the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans Accelerate (EBV) and Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans Families (EBV-F). She also organizes and manages the Small Business Leadership Conference held annually in Central Florida. 

Cindy is a mentor, business consultant, serial entrepreneur, lifelong student and educator. She was business faculty at Oakland Community College for over 7 years teaching business, marketing, sales, human resources, entrepreneurship and management courses on-ground, online and hybrid. Cindy is also a partner in Hoffman Business Consulting, LLC. She was the managing partner of ie; (ideas & exhibits) llc, owner of Just Like Home 24/7 Child Care LLC, partner in Bounce 3 Inflatable Rentals LLC, and managing partner of Chicago Coffee Company. As an entrepreneur Cindy started each company from the ground up creating business plans, conducting marketing research, building locations, hiring and training staff, supervising and coordinating all daily operations ultimately selling or closing the business.  

Cindy’s dissertation topic was mentoring in the community college business classroom.  She presented her findings at the UNM Mentoring Institute Conference in 2021. She also co-authored a sales book titled Fresh Breath is the Key to People Business with her husband Thomas Hoffman in 2020.

The Hoffmans enjoy themed 5K runs, bird watching, astronomy, biking, roller skating, volunteering, gardening and being outside in the Florida sun.
